Today’s trip was to Alentejo, a province in the Southern part of Portugal, a land of castles, palaces, cork, black pig, great wines and decorative stones, a land abundant with many varieties of marble the pink (aurora rose) is the most appreciated! Here palaces, houses and even sidewalks are all made of marble which is one of the most important exports of Portugal.  The weather was perfect, good food, even better wine, lots of history all provided a great tour for my clients.
